Wow Adaptec has stepped up their game... My old ones did the job but was nowhere near as handsome!
I had to wait ages while they retooled, but at the end of the day it was worth it I think, as they look pretty good! The guys were really apologetic about how long it took and kept me informed so I have no complaints!

Thats great to hear. You dont hear of many companies that are as informative as you make out adaptec. Good communication is vital IMO
Question for those of you running adapters - does the centre of the adapter fit snugly into the wheels centre bore? I assumed that the 2 would literally plug into each other but they don't fit quite that snugly - is that right? I definitely ordered the correct centre bore (57.1mm) but I haven't measured my actual adapters yet to see if they are correct.
Question about adapters, I gather the purpose is so you open up a wider range of rim option with different stud patterns, but wouldnt these give you less room in between the hub and the guard, arent we already stuck for room in the Golfs?
