Question about adapters, I gather the purpose is so you open up a wider range of rim option with different stud patterns, but wouldnt these give you less room in between the hub and the guard, arent we already stuck for room in the Golfs?

part A, yes, it is.
Part B, yes and no. Some wheels are low offset, some are high offset. High offset wheels + adapters = normal offset (for a golf atleast) wheels.

My mechanic got the bastard bolt out and installed the last coilover for me while he was at it - so I'm back on the road! Wheels and tyres to follow.

Looks dope! Very nice inded! What headlights and fogs are you running? Mine is not as clean as that, matte paint job makes it pretty ratty, I sometimes think about respraying it!

Running angel headlights off ebay. cost me around $250 and fitted myself. plus the fog lights were off ebay aswell. love the site to be honest!!

Thanks for the recommendation - will check them out. I was warned about ringwood beaurepaires but thought how hard is it to do an alignment!

yep defiantly try craig. He's done a couple tyres for me, and a few alignments too, as he has for a few other local members!

Ended up going to Bob Janes up the road cause it was easier and they have a pit, did it no worries and 55 bucks later I have what feels like a new vr6!! The difference in handling from where it was to where it is now is insane! I was on lowering springs and played out shocks so now I have more travel in my suspension, but its firm and corners like its on rails - no body roll at all. Starting to see why you guys love the vr6's so much!!
Have been inspired to buy some more parts! Bought some hella smoked indicators / fogs for it today.
Also I will hopefully fit up the wheels this weekend! Pics to come!

Should I go a thule fairing on my racks? Debating it at the moment!!

Bought a fairing, pretty stoked with how it looks, this is the only photo I've taken so far though as my car is filthy! Picked up the wheels today - running some good stretch as well! Photos to come! I suspect I am going to need to roll my guards though!
