The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. I'd like to know as well! I'm aware we have genuine dealers and importers (like Tooleys) but what about others?
    Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
    Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

If you're after aftermarket ones I've bought my DBA rotors and Ferodo pads from Autobarn, you can also get them from Super Cheap Auto. Just make sure you give them the right part numbers.

You can look up the part numbers on DBA's website.

Did you get standard ones or sloted? How did you find the ferodo pads??

Are the pads with wear indicators ? What prices did you pay?

I bought slotted discs, I bought the ferodo pads on a recommendation from a mate of mine.

The pads do not have wear indicators, I have a '94 VR6 so my car doesn't have the wear sensors anyway, you can also bypass the wear sensor if you want to. I can't remember how much they were but I'll come back to you when I find the paperwork at home

That is strange then, got me stumped.

Found this link to rid you of brake pad wear sensors forever:

                Is yours a 2.8L or 2.9L VR6?

I could have sworn I read somewhere during my research that MK3 VR6 after 95 had them?? unless the GTI's had them??

LOL, oh ok. Sorry, for European stuff we jump straight to overseas listings like Remsa as Bendix and other aussie ones are near on useless, which automatically opens up options that aren't available here... And yep, there's a few Mk3's listed with wear sensors.

Pads for European cars for normal street use, and above OEM performance, we recommend Remsa. Not particularly known in Australia, but they're the largest European pad manufacturer, and part of the TRW group. Good for about 650 degrees. Remsa for the Mk3 VR6 are $99 for the front, and $65 for the rears.

RDA Rotors, $55 each for the front (assuming 280mm, not 288mm), and $67 each for the rears.
