they are absolutely great, the dba rotors and the remsa pads are a match made in heaven,

it was just yesterday that i took the dub down bulli pass and gave them the extra footing to see how they cope, and they have far exceeded my expectations,(no fade) the pads kept grabbing and my uncle was shocked how quick i got down the pass, and how much i was abusing the middle pedal not that i encourage it.

even when cold the pads have bite where not much peformance pads do that.

however the pads do have their downside of brake dust (not alot) but more than the average pad, but hay it forces you to wash the car sooner rather than later.

overall i highly encourage those who are on stock pads and green stuff to give remsa's a try, youll be suprised how great they perform.
im definelty gonna stick with these pads for life...

I'm in market for brakes too, preferrably low brake dust. I'm also after discs too, I was looking at the ATE power slot rotors from OS but shipping looks like it will be a killer so I'm looking at local options too...

          Recommendations people?

QFM HPX pads (Bendix Ultimate equivalent, but very low dust and rotor wear), and RDA slotted rotors.

What exact model car you got?

Mk3 Golf VR6 1996, BTW I just assumed our cars didn't have pad wear sensors, I don't remember anything other than the ABS wheel speed sensor being around the brakes. How can you tell if you have these or not?

I'm thought the Mk3 VR6's did, but may be worth checking to see exactly what you've got.

Also, do you know if your car runs theses pads:

                or these pads:

Or whether you've got 280mm or 288mm rotors...

                Regards,

Yep, it must suck having a forum sponsor that, despite being a premium RDA distributor, and buying EBC pads at quite a tidy price, talks members into buying lower priced products which are more suitable for their needs, and out perform the EBC anyway...

We distribute EBC, Project Mu, Protex, TRW, Remsa, PBR, Bendix, RDA and QFM, and as much money as we can make selling EBC over something like QFM or Remsa, they just don't compare on price or performance, so we generally try and do what in the best interest of our customers... Your welcome to get excited over a pad that has a near useless cold friction rating, average hot friction rating, and a temp rating no higher than an off the shelf Lucas and pay twice the price, but we prefer to sell customers the cheapest pad from our selection that will 100% satisfy their needs, and have them tell their friends. That pad generally isn't EBC Green.
