Interesting to see the prices on some of the rotors...gslrallysport, what would the price of 288mm fronts be? might be worth upgrading in a year or so for me

Ah, $63 each for a standard, or $195 for a pair of slotted.

(Or $339 for a pair of fully sik gold passivated slotted and dimpled).

i've seen plenty of "vr6" pads for 280mm rotor/caliper combo with wear sensors on them. bendix ultimates do.

Some VR6s definately have wear indicators.

I can get Zimmerman German Disks in 280 or 288 for $150 the pair.

THe later 288mm pads are easy to get, the earlier ones are getting harder strangely.

Pads for European cars for normal street use, and above OEM performance, we recommend Remsa. Not particularly known in Australia, but they're the largest European pad manufacturer, and part of the TRW group. Good for about 650 degrees. Remsa for the Mk3 VR6 are $99 for the front, and $65 for the rears.

RDA Rotors, $55 each for the front (assuming 280mm, not 288mm), and $67 each for the rears.
                Thanks for the order Greg,

Will keep you posted with some feedback once installed...........

                Cheers.

Brembo, AP, Project Mu all have far superior metalology than either Australian RDA or DBA, but between the two, in a single peice rotor, we prefer RDA in terms of quality.

RDA are the largest brake parts manufacturer and distributor in Australia:

well guys as you all know the cars at matts getting the last pieces done and in the mean time ive ordered a set of dba slotted rotors,

recieved them today but still wanting to know what pads will suit these rotors nothing to harsh, suitable for daily driving and the frequent bulli pass abuse.

heres some pics of the rotors. great to know these are aussie made.
nb: these rotors are for the 280x20 setup.

I keep hearing good stuff about EBC pads, greenstuff seem to be the choice of popularity; however I'm not sure if they'll ''suit the rotors'' or not.

                        How much were your rotors?

the rotors were $118 each and i had to wait a week. they're very good quality slotts as the edges have been rounded to prevent excessive pad wear. also how much am i expected to pay for a good set of pads. ebc greenstuff, ferodos etc.

well if we had a group buy it would justify the postage costs but if i were to buy a set alone id rather buy them from here $190.
