So went to get a wheel alignment today.

First thing "Your car is pretty low, we may need to send you to another mob in Glendale if we can't get it to our alignment machine"

"Oh really, I raised it last night". Opened the hatch to prove, jack, tools, blocks of wood etc.

"We'll just see how we go then".

Got up on the machine, all is swell...

Techie comes and gets me from the lounge "When you have adjustable shockies, you are meant to have a cam bolt at the bottom. This helps us adjust camber"

"****, I wasn't supplied with any of these. Will be making phone calls"

So as it stands I have about .5deg negative on the right and .5 deg postive on the left. So I'll be pulling left till I get these "cam bolts".

      It's actually getting frustrating....

I had the same problem too except I DID have the camber bolts in there already. Damn Pedders couldn't be bothered taking the wheel off and adjusting. Now all I end up doing is eyeball the camber at home, then just ask for a front toe adjustment only.

Whiteline used to sell these camber bolts but I dunno if they still do. I have a pair but of them is in pretty knackered condition. I've just resorted to using the thinner bolts GAP sell. Not as much adjustment compared to the Whitelines but better than stock.

Yeah those were the Whitelines I had. The "toothed lock washer" on one of mine is quite worn and has even edged out the strut bolt mounting holes in the steering knuckles. If you want I can send you the pair I have and you can have a play around with it as I no longer use them.

Dont have camber bolts on mine either. Lossen at the bottom and have someone pull the tyre towards the guard. May take a few goes but i have prefect .5 neg on the front of mine.

I've already got a set of camber bolts in mine, theyre good enough to get several degrees of neg camber (gone as far as -2 deg, fun!). No idea what brand tho, where in the car when i bought it.

$77 for a set is a bit rich tho. I think H&R make a set too, might be cheaper?

                      • It appears the stage has been set.

You reckon ECS would do 75 AUD shipped?

If not Whiteline DO make good suspension gear.
I have a friend in contact with them wand we might be able to get 50?

50 for Whiteline if we cant get 75 for H&R?

Are you buying all four for that price Mal? Or just a pair?
