  • So today I trial fitted the wheel to work out what size adapters to get.

Here are pics from the front, back & side:

From this i measured with a 60/30 set square 5mm from "square" down from the guards to the lip, clearance.
I know that there will be more clearance with the car on the ground with the geometry changes so.....I think 10mm on the front and 15mm on the back would suffice, poke but not too extreme...or 15 front 20 backs?
From ECS, about 500 shipped, so not too bad.

          • I'd go as thin as I can, front and rear. Tyres are gonna get raped as it is.
            Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
            Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

Smallest I have found to date are 15mm:

              I was thinking 195/45 front, 195 40 rear ?

              • I'm buying 15mm adapters from Matt Crooke @ Adaptec Speedware. $165USD/pair is the damage, and shipping is only $45USD for the set of four. Usually it's $65USD but for this month only he's discounting by $20USD on shipping.

                  • Bit of whorage, got out with a mate and his EOS 40D today for some shots. Obviously priorities aren't to sit on a laptop all night, but a small bit of whorage wont hurt

                    Why not a chop also...

That's coils, I got defected so it's raised, but it sits "nice"

I want them on for the nationals, nice little goal.
