    • Thanks Alex!! Need to find the US Vento lip I think

My steel spark plug tool and BFI Stealthline Engine mounts arrived today from Tim @ dubaddiction. Thanks fella!

After this little session I am looking at a new project, so my Mk3 wont be changing much until it suits to go nuts on it down the track....

          • Well I have an appt with the owner of the other car on Sunday, I know I will be impressed, but need to have a good chat and inspection. Also pending approval from the bank.
I can assure you you will know about it soon if it comes to fruition

Which exhaust James? Milltek? I had enquired about it, but that money can be better used elsewhere at the time being.

                Bahahaha

Yeah when I lost my licence I got defected. Got this pipe to quiten it down to pass it. Through the Magnaflow back on later but the noise/drone got too much at 5 in the morning on the way to work so I sold it. Anyways, the thing sounds boosted but gay with this on, makes me giggle though at it's stupidity:

                        • So had a few dramas. Will detail later but the car is booked in next friday to sort out some funky driving characteristics. Over the phone diagnosis is a suspected castor problem. Will give the story when I know how to tell it!

                          • Had a chance to get under the car today and have a look see/complete some work.

                            - Tightened a control arm bolt that has worked it's way loose when I installed the poly bushes a couple of weeks ago. Seems to have cured the problem listed above ^^. The car would 'torque steer" in 5th at 100kmh, seems to be fine now. Am only left with the noise of the coilovers. That has to be my only grip about them, they ride really well (for 550 shipped anyway) and get plenty of low, but damn these are noise!

-Installed BFI "stealthline" engine mounts. They were the only ones Tim had available but they suit my purpose fine, as always fast shipping. Thanks!

-Installed my NGK platinum plugs (now that I got a new spark plug tool, again thanks Tim)

-Moar lows. It didn't come down evenly will need another dig tomorrow. But looking better every time. (Not to blow my own horn though!) Will get a good suspension checking over and another alignment done on Friday.

Yee all like pickshers, been learning. These were very quick but hopefully a couple of different "feels" to them.
