Are they from the batch that turned out to not fit so well?

Im order number 339 on september 11, Tim. Whta's this about not fitting so well? Have had a few dramas with the coils already, don't really want to be stuffing around with the lip too. In saying that I was happy buying as you have a good rep and lots of people on here have them.

Thanks for having those mounts and bearings too. Will look at getting them soon.

Ride, quite stiff lol. Because I have a few things not quite right I haven't been throwing it around too much at all really. The struts I pulled out would not extend at all so they were well shanked, and because of how close it is to the deck im really conscious of going for a b-road bahnstorm. Point being it's a massive change to what I am used to.

Once these few issues are sorted (see next post), and it's raised with a good wheel alignment, i'll happily find some twisties and see how it goes. Change in power down, weight transfer, pitching under braking etc etc...

This is how the front struts sit relative to the body. I don't believe this is "quite" right!

There is a nut below the body, and instead of using the nylock ones, we reused the old ones because we were a little unsure. They sit up by about a nuts length, so if I remove the lower nut, will that get these strut hats hard up against the body?

Those hats that poke up, I just took them off (safe to do so with the car on the deck) and there is a nut underneath. I want these hard up against the body.

Can get photos of them if oyu want?

mate, they poke up so much because the rubber top mounts are stuffed. you need new ones

                        Exactly.

I always change em when installing new suspension.

I carry them in stock if you are in need.

                          Thanks Aydan

Weird, stuffed ones would lose their integrity, bulge and sag and carry on wouldn't they?

                          Apparently not. Thanks again.

Big learning curve, haven't touched this before

Thanks Matty, how much you looking for? Any different to the mounts (including bearings)in the link Tim posted earlier? I would assume yours are OEM, and his are to OEM specs?

Mine are OEM, including the bearing. His are cheaper, mine need to cost at least $50 each. Either would be better than knackered original ones.
