this is so disheartening!! when my mk2 grows up, i'm pretty sure it wanted turn into something like yours.. + 2 doors.. + rust. i hope mischa gets onto it quick smart. all he ever talks about is how he wants to buy a warehouse to store golf mk2s.

oh, and by that i also mean a s***load of mk2s as well.

Sorry to hear your selling the Mk2 John, but totally understand why.

I'm sure someone here on the forum will snap it up cause its a great lil car.

Well, Eddy and I fitted the front strut brace yesterday. It's a heavy duty job, and fitted like a glove. No amazing results handling-wise, but it does feel more rigid in the front, and gives a sharper turn in to corners...

I am slightly inclined to sell u my set of bbs rs since they wont fit my mk3 anymore but they are too hard to find in the correct stud. I hope u keep the mk2, shame to see it go elsewhere

Wow!! Seems a few MkII's are up for sale. Mine too. I am parting out bits of mine too. I have a set of RS for sale. It goes back on P-Slots before the nationals. Going back to original.

Oh, and for the record: Small bumpers rock.
