Got the hot side piping mostly done, just have to get it welded. Also re installed the 1.8t wiring just waiting on the adapter harness. Then just have to sort radiator lines and get the immobiliser deleted, then should be running and driving.

Got the exhaust done and bought an ecu with no immobiliser. Just waiting on the wiring which should be here Monday and I should have it running.

          Hi,
I'm also doing the same conversion on a mk1 and need to get my wiring done by a professional and get my immobiliser taken out.
Who did u use for the wiring? And what do they charge?

Bought it from a place in Canada, but they only do it for mk2, 3 and got the immobiliser deleted from Quattro Motorsport in Asquith.

Got some BMW wheels, tyres are too big on the front and scrub. Also got a new radiator and my intercooler piping welded and fitted everything.

What did you find out about engineering it?
