Is that a Omp front brace? If so how did you get it to fit? Is there spacer between the brace and the strut tower? I have the Omp one and haven't installed it yet as it fouls on the Master Cylinder and slightly on the air intake tubing. It was also fouling on the Overflow tank till I lowered its mounting.

Russ, you'll get used to it. When it's rolling it's easier. Can I suggest getting a tension spring to hold the dip stick down. Also if you haven't already, get the baffled sump gasket. It keeps most of the oil from splashing out and away from the pickup.

This is the first time I started up the car since buying it back in early 2011. The Mk3 dual downpipe is fitted, no cat or resonator, 2.25 inch exhaust through to the x-force muffler. Quite happy with the noise it makes, especially 2-4k rev range
