  • Jay Jays Mk2 Project

So Jay Jay drove his Mk 2 to the shop today ready for some serious loving in the speed department.

The engine was coming out anyway and he was going on about wanting 280mm brakes....... Then he saw the whole VR6 front end with 288mm Brakes and Widetrack, so it had to be.

Ripped most of his Mk2 apart

Gonna put the subframe in tomorrow so we can roll the car around, whilst we await the crazy engine that is going in it. I`m not gonna spoil Jays thunder and say what it is, but it will be faaaaaast.

This should be a good thread, and as long as your sticking to the VAG family any choice is a good one in the end, well except for some certain 8v's of course..
