  • After a long break.

great to see some great completed projects.

the swallowtail is back on track to completion haha. i will post some photos of under the hood when it looks a little more exciting.

i finally received a megasquirt in the mail. i was planning on autronic but it was proving to be tricky.

something i found when moving house, an old lomo shot.

    peace.

i do use fisheye alot on the digicam but that lomo shot was this setup where you pulled a string to wind it up then hit the button and it would click off the four shots. as with most plastic cameras the mechanics is a little shady and you get those black lines of different width between shots..

nah i dont skate hard. i use it to roll around to the train station but bmx is more my thing..

but they are both fun to take photos of..i built this ramp under my rental house. anyone in brisbane interested in a ramp as my lease ends in 2 weeks!! i just dont have a home for it..

oh yeah, this is a car forum, oops

Im now ready to wire in the megasquirt. Finishing the itb mani and radiator mods tomorrow if i can gee up my tig guy. Using an Audi v8 ruel rail and regulator. MS 2.2. new fuel pump. Ek civic radiator thats flipped on its side (too tall) and new outlets cause they were 28mm.

got a new oil cooler and a volvo sandwich plate that has a temp controlled valve in it. Anyone have low oil press issues with a cooler? lines are really short.

gave up on fitting the SSR reverse mesh rims even though they were super hot. got some 7x15 bbs rs style with a boring offset for free..at this point im more interested in getting it moving then rolling with dish. (sad huh!)

im driving bris-syd-melb on friday and back a week later so if anyone needs any cheap transport of stuff, holla..

Got the cabin side of the MS sorted tonight, was pretty easy once you know what all the wires do..nice shady photo for reference.

worked out the general shape for the engine loom. routed all the wires bar the window wipers through the second port. i plan to use that nice mesh type stuff to house the wires.

might go make a new headlight relay harness..old one seems a bit scrappy now.
