  • and i cant figure out how to make the rocker cover mirror polished and i cant get rid of the crap next to the oil filler cap hole thing. someone wanna explain pls
    But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."

    • Sorry about the thread spam but does anyone know what the surface area of the car is? i want to try something new and wrap the car because my paint is terrible but i dont know how much i\ll need.

          • There is a guy in Wanniassa around the corner from you who does Wrapping on cars. I can pick you up one day and take you there and maybe, just maybe talk the guy in to follow us to your place so he can see the size of the car and give you an estimated quote...

              • Haha I used to have a false floor, but with a mad sub setup many years ago in my mk1. I dig the wood effect dude!

                • well i did something pretty cool i guess.

                  Bought some fake suede today, for some reason was called soft leatherette, i then covered my dash with it.

                        with all of the trim pieces etc added back onto it it looks alot better! the silver stuff in the first pic is some foam that i put on there to cover all of the crevices and cracks of the dash, its also on the very top but thats been covered.

                          cheers brother! yeah the motorbike is awesome, dads gx750 project. took him like 3 weeks to rebuild and the golf has taken me almost 2 years so far hahaha

                            • So i've been wondering, is it at all possible to move the position of the pedals? Having your knee's to your elbows when the seat is the furthest back that it can be isnt fun.
