Hey mate unsure of the conditions at tassie, but when i took my car for a roadie, the guy didnt even look at my car. He just yelled "holy sh*t is that a mk1? I havnt seen one of these in ages. Ohh wow i love the bodykit and colour yada yada" and jsut signed the paper haha. I had no heater, no de-misters, nothing ( i still dont) and it passed. So im sure you'll do just fine..

                        Well........ it failed

One headlight decided not to work, and rear tyres where cracked...
Put 2 new tyres on now, having lunch, then going to fix light.. then back around

Simple fixes and great to see you've already done them.

One day when you've got a few hours I'll tell you about trying to get my 1962 Austin Lancer through Canberra rego (very strict) with a very hot 1.8 and Ford Escort rear end. Even getting 2 x 17 year old girls in short skirts to take it through didn't help thereby confirming all rego testers are gay.
