So i managed to make a start on the Headlight Relay setup as my Lights are sooo bad, there is near no difference between parkers and low beam

Ran all new wiring from headlights to Relays, I used a 5 pin relay which has a double outlet. I thought i had 2 of them, but could only find 1

So atm i have really bright Low beams
Man you need to come over and help me wire up mine haha.

Good to hear mate, are you using one relay for the low beams and then another relay for the highs?

yeah one for High, One for Low.
Get a 5 pin relay as it has 2 outputs. so Two Lights off one relay.

I can make you up a harness if you want? Then just plug and play

Nah its alright, i've already got a low beam relay set up, just gotta set up a high beam one now. Im too lazy to do it though, so im driving with HIDs ahaha.

Seems to be coming along nicely, but with the weather, we are all slowed down

So got sick of the stupid fuel consumption !!! half a tank got me 80kays of town driving 20L/80kays!!!

So i got around to putting a 32.36 DGAV weber on her, and WOW. started first pop when fuel got to carb. Idled and everything straight away.

Got a bit of tuning to do obviously, timing, jetting ect. I get alot of hesitation and it dont really want to rev past 4k under load.. BUT, it will pull from 60kays in 4th pretty well :S

Got a mate sending me some jets, so will have a fiddle next week. does sound very throaty when secondaries hit

Good to see you value adding.... To an earlier comment.... It wasn't headed for the scrappers, so Dan didn't really save it.... But it is good to see someone doing something with it. It sat around at my place for a year at least...

can tell it had been sitting for a while, rego papers said 2004....

As it is ive had to replace

                Dizzy cap,
                rotor button
                points
                plugs and leads
                fuel hoses and filter
                radiator hoses
                coolant hoses
                radiator fan
all the brakes and master cylinder and booster
                drivers seat base
                engine wiring harness
                gear shifter bushes
                and now the weber setup.

I added the small bumpers and duckbill

Coilovers should be landing soon, want to try them out in this for a while... (they paid for, might aswell use them)
All i need now is a weber filter, and a handfull of jets and a sunny day

Best overall carb for a 4 banger IMO. just takes a bit to get them running perfect. then you leave it

so my jets came in yesty.
Got a chance to fit them this morning (yay, sunshine )

                      All i can say is WOW!!! :O :O :O

                      Previous setup was

                      primary seconds
                      50 55 idle
                      132 130 main
                      170 160 air

That setup to me seems pretty lean, especially on primary side.

New setup is a mixture of 1.6L setups ive been researching on. came up with a "middle" setup. seems its the default weber setting too.

                      Primary seconds
                      55 50 idle
                      140 135 main
                      165 160 air

Overall it runs great, little flat off idle and up to 2k. going to play with idle jets and mixture screw as that flat bit is in the idle circuit.
Once it hits 2k 2.5k holy craaaaaaap! the the little 1.6 really boogies

Next step is ignition, electric setup to ditch points, should improve it alot.

Will do. Sounds like you've got your carby settings going in the right direction. Let us know what sort of fuel economy you're getting.

                              will do,
waiting on the airfilter setup to arrive.
I was so impatient i had to floor it around the block

its all trial and error i guess, there is a really good book on ebay about webers and tuning ect. Might grab it when i have spare $50
