Dom had a set of 16 inch Teledials for sale that are technically mine. (I still own them financially). I'll be getting them back if his old man doesn't buy them off me (they are down in Melbourne at his place). If i do, i may sell them. Kinda want to clean them up first, though.Originally posted by lawny View Postare we all talking about the teledials? i had the phonedials for sale on here but they are gone. by the look of that picture i am kicking myself in the rear right now!

Yeah they look like 15s. They came in widths other than 7's i think. But 7 is fairly common. The ones I/Dom has are ET 63 or 65 i think, but can't remember. But they are 60+.Originally posted by IH8 View Post
These are 15"s, correct?
15"s and 16"s are both 7" wide right? Offset up there in the +50's?
Damn i want some now.

So I would need a 25mm+ adapter just to clear the coilovers right?
I'm hoping to have a good collection of wheels for my MK1. It'll be the sort of car I base my love and enthusiasm for wheels on.
Not keen on baller-status perfect fitment RM's or RS's, more so keen on rare/unusual 13's, 14's and 15's.
I've booked my first set already and I'll have them fitted as soon as the car's low enough to pull them off!

Yeah. You want a minimum offset of about ET25 and ideally around ET30-35 when the adapters are fitted with a 7 inch rim.Originally posted by IH8 View PostSo I would need a 25mm+ adapter just to clear the coilovers right?
Hopefully Tim will comment on what he was running on his Mk1 when he had the 16 inch Porsche D90's on it.. As that was a pretty good fitment.

a final ET of 25-30 is generally pretty good, if you go to high (35+) you might have issues hitting the coilovers.
the jetta wags! has paint! havn't seen it for a while.
hmm.. well, I would have done it differently.

Eh I reckon the colour is great if that's what you're referring to Jarred. Plus if they do a stance like that I will be stoked on it!
Damn straight, the D90's looked great on that car.
I can't say I've seen bolt on spacers/adapters available at a higher thickness than 30mm, but that's on the JDM side of things.

Just run adapters plus spacers if you need to.Originally posted by IH8 View PostEh I reckon the colour is great if that's what you're referring to Jarred. Plus if they do a stance like that I will be stoked on it!

I totally dig that thing. What workmanship.
