                • Hey Stu, where in Melbourne are you staying in? Happy to take you for a drive to some great roads, especially if you are interested in late night drives. There is a road that I love near your old company (not sure if you work for the gigantic German company anymore) and it is great fun. I will bring the GT3 (a different GT3 now though than the one I posted earlier - decided to get one with a few luxuries instead of hardcore club sport spec) if you bring this!

                    Hey Wayne,

Actually still with the big German firm (you have a good memory!) - now managing marketing of a few product lines for Asia/Pacific region, so keeping me busy so far... very good for sourcing parts, though!

I like your plan I have an apartment in Spencer Street (luckily with a 3-car garage... but still not enough!!). Happy to meet you for a drive when I get back with the car. Not sure I still have your number, so PM it to me and I'll be in touch early in the new year

One of my colleagues has just bought a tidy 3rd hand 996 RS, which I'm mighty impressed with (throttle response and traction are mind blowing!!!!!) - the 997.2 must be something else

                    • P.S. Some pics of the car and the carbon parts are starting to appear on the K-tech site (one is in the image news feed at the bottom of the index page already): K-Tech Michael Koordt - Fahrzeugveredelung | Kohlefaser, verchromen, vergolden, verzinken, polieren, hochglanzverdichten, pulverbeschichten

Some of the carbon parts in the gallery are also part of the custom kit Michael has made for the car

Come out to the leafy lay back suburbs.

                        • Hey Stu, If you're looking for cheap thrills, go check out Nightingdales Electrics further up Spencer St near the intersection of Dudley St.

They've got the most bizarre collection of workshop tools you'll ever see under one roof. (I'm easily amused)

Want to catch up for a coffee someday? I'm in the Rialto building at the moment.

Yeah it's something else alright! Hey we live close to each other. Given you have 3 car parks, I am guessing you are at the West side as opposed to closer to me on the city side? I am at Eureka in Southbank. Catch up in the new year!

Happy to coffee it anytime, Pete. I don't work in the city, though, so it'd have to be a weekend thing
