Wow nice work as usual! I wish I have the space and time to take on a project like this. When you are sick of this or want space to start the next project let me know. Would love to add this to my collection. I reckon it would look ace next to my other caged white car!

Probably should put these in for perspective...

Just a couple of pics of what the poor thing used to look like, prior to my several years of extensive restoration work :what: !

Covered in rust, bird sh*t, bog, dents, and bad repair work

          ....

Boxster Spyder... or did you take it a step further and GT3 RS yourself Either way, both awesome cars!

This one is a keeper, though, unfortunately. I just couldn't sell it now... Not only would I technically 'lose' tens of thousands of $$, it'd also be like experiencing some kind of divorce or death in the family!!!

Haha yeah, I picked up the Spyder first, then decided I wanted a GT3 so I got a clubsport spec GT3 (which means factory cage) in white. It's a crazily awesome car!!! As for the Mk1, if you ever change your mind let me know Stu! After all, divorce and death do happen! (ok sorry bad joke!)

Well seeing that you are a fan, here is a quick iPhone pic of the toy next to the missus' car. Ok, no more Porsche Talk, but Porsche has a VW heritage and is now part of VW anyway so we aren't that off topic lol. Anyhoo, sell me the Mk1 when you are done with it!!!

Wow mate, awe inspiring work. It's my dream to have a project like this in the future, such excellent attention to detail. Maybe I have similar taste in building up a Mk1 as I can't find anything I'd change! Please tell me you have some kind of car experience (i.e. working in the car/mechanics industry) - only so I can try to justify my own incompetence in working on cars!

Everything is self-taught, though I do work in the Automotive industry. No reason anyone else can't do the same - you do need to be pretty anal and ridiculously patient, though :-p

pure awesomeness, if this doesn't inspire someone then they're a douche.

Good to see that being anal gets results!!
