Thanks for the excellent video. Don't think anyone could have described the way Mk1 lovers feel better than you did. The feeling definitely stays with you for life. I don't have a Mk1 at the moment but know I will in the future.77 Mk1 w/2E Engine (no longer for sale)

In all seriousness, though, I have one interested party, but if he doesn't snap it up, I may look at putting it on the market in the coming months. Enjoying it too much right now, though

Mk1s have no wheel travel as it is, so I don't want to ruin the driving experience for the sake of apparently looking cool!

Dont worry I understand that "slammed" cars are not ideal for handling. It might be just the huge 16" wheels that made it look high. I 100% agree with owning a Mk1 it should be driven hard. Dad owns this so I understand a thing or 2 about setting a track car up.

It does sit reasonably high (by 'scene' standards anyway!), but that's because I want to enjoy driving it. I think it's pretty funny when Mk1 owners spend a fortune on high-end coilovers, strut braces, swaybars and mods to steering geometry, and then run their cars with barely an inch of wheel travel!! If you want to do this, you might aswell run Monroes with cut springs - literally

Awesome vid, no doubt for a truely awesome car. Stance is perfect!
I understand Low may look good in some cases. But a drivers car is for driving, not for appealing to sceene queens and cut springs who are jealous of mention.Cheers, Benny

i never post in the mk1 section but i just saw the vid - amazing car, i'd have that over a 458 any day (well, maybe not - i'd sell the 458 and buy this one, and then start my very own first project).
killer video, too - it really conveyed the sentiment that you voiced when you said "it's a hugely emotional car to drive" - in a world where all the emotion is being taken out of driving "sports" cars, i hope you hold on to this car for a good few years to come.
congrats
