I love the stretch that you are getting on the Hankooks, they look to be holding up to it well.
They do stretch quite well - I can't take credit for this, though, as I bought them already fitted to the rims. Apparently they're one of best tyres for stretch, according to the German stretch-heads!

The side trim is the 3M stuff, which is available from most rubber products stores (usually a special order, though). It's only about $7 a metre and does peel off without leaving marks in case you change your mind (like I do often!)

It's actually got a small crack in it as it's under a fair bit of tension to fit neatly around the front panel... I'm actually waiting for a new one to come from Germany, which has been designed a bit differently

Never had any trouble with the police. They've looked over the car a few times, but I'm always polite and let them do their job; plus, I drive it sensibly on the street, which makes all the difference. I've been followed by unmarked cars more times than I can remember, but I never give them anything to worry about. I don't blame them, really - there are some major tools driving around in modified cars... I just make sure I'm not one of them

              • I love this car Stuart, and if you ever want to sell it PM me. It's timeless beauty. Incredible machine I hope to see it in the flesh one day if you ever bring it to Sydney.

                Any photos of your R32?

                • hey stu great to meet you at DOVW (and i cant believe you let me pop the hood - having seen what was under it in pics on here, i was scared ishtless that i, as per the norm, might unwittingly fork something up despite the utmost effort not to).

i dont know what to say after these last pics on the PLS wheels, other than.... i wish this car was a girl, who'd just finished high school, had flaming red hair, and lived in my street haha!(not saying that i'd want to annihilate your car though)

I actually sold my R32 about 18 months ago. Still miss it, too; they're a future classic, I think

Thanks to Bernie and Andrew Gueit of Hybrid Imaging for some amazing photography.

Cheers I was pretty stoked. It's difficult to get a cover at the best of times, but particularly between November and January when all the cars from the summer shows in the northern hemisphere have been spotted and signed up.

It's a very long process with PVW, though. This has been in the making for months! The issue is out now, but probably won't be on shelves in Aus for a while. You can download it on iPhone/iPad now, though.
