Here's the aftermath. The cylinder doesn't look damaged....i mean no chips or scratches and i cant see and scratches on the cylinder wall, the car starts and revs fine so i guess there is no serious damage. It was only a very thin washer made from soft-ish metal. The ***** thing is that its still leaking around the manifold, the crap i was given at autobahn just melted away back to liquid. I bought all of the gaskets off ebay so we will wait and see how we go with thous.
Good news is that all the gears go in nice and smooth but the bad news is that i am going to need a lot of dynamat and a 2nd muffler because it sounds like a race car.
Here is the spark plug, a normal washer and the one i pulled out.

Here are some other pics taken with my dads phone.

A pic of the old set up with the old carbie

Pics of the engine now, the bay needs a wash and a hand polish to get the over-spray off and the cables need to be cleaned up, ill also be getting some proper spark plug leads and try to hide them as best as i can......don't even mention the uglyness of the rain tray. Eventually it will look a fair bit better than what it does now.

Oh heres the volt meter and switches in and working
