Test fitted the radiator today. No pics, as its a secret. I will need a different alternator bracket, thats all I`m saying.

        Started into the wiring.

          Update

Today I fitted Diesel Fuel Lines. Surprisingly easy as they were ready bent to fit a Golf. Easier than bending virgin fuel line into shape.

          Fitted the Driveshafts

Buggered around with the gear linkages and shifter and put the car on the floor for the first time with the engine in it.

Happy Day indeed. It feels more solid and looks like a car again.

Sitting at a good hight, I hope it settles lower though

Still have wiring, and interior to go, but Its definately getting closer.

The motor looks a lot better sitting in the car than on the engine stand mate!

What's the deal with the Diesel Fuel Lines?
Are they larger than the petrol versions?

Moved the car from the back of the garage to the front today.

Pushed it out into the sun and gave it a quick wash, turned it round and put her back in.

Now I can reach the wiring and fuel lines, next time it comes out it`ll be driving
