Glad to see you are enjoying the accoustics. You dont get that with modern emission controlled cars.
By the way, the 4 headlight grill is the trademark thing that everyone thinks of with a Mk1 GTI. Although technically you are correct in putting a 2 headlight grille on, it loses some GTIness in my book and just looks like all the other aussie Mk1s. Plus you cant see at night. Yeah, I know what you mean Matt. I will def be keeping the twin headlight grille anyway, so we'll see how it goes.
Oh, my old 2004 MINI Cooper S used to snap, crackle and pop like that too, kind of.

For a car that turns 30 in a few months, the interior plastics/vinyl scrub up okay. Although, I probably should have taken the finished pics after I vacuumed the carpets, haha...

I don't think they're OEM, but I guess Matt can answer that. I wouldn't mind changing to some subtle chrome tips...
