I was quite excited to find out just how rare these wheels are!
They are 4x100 ET30 15X7s, They are going to get machined up and cleaned in the coming weeks!

On another note the car is getting registered tomorrow!!!
Very excited to have it on the road!

Thanks again for the comments! Awsome to hear all the good feedback!

Im going to go and see what quote they can give me to give them a machine around the lips and tidy up in general and then a nice gloss black center with polished lip and centre cap!
Will let you know what the price they come back with and whether or not it is reasonable! i will be doing all 5 rims so that i can have one as a spare, the silver one is a different offset it is et29, the rest are et30, im thinking of possibly getting the rims modified so that they are all at et25 to keep it nice and flush with the guards! i dont want to go toooo crazy as i dont want them to rub! I think all they do is weld on a slight spacer and then machine it back so that it is part of the wheel!
Will see how i go and will post up pictures as soon as i get it back!

              on another note ITS REGISTERED!!!!
              The plates are 377 LRP!
Will look into some euro plates for it at a later stage!
Not planning on going crazy with engine work but would like to get it looking nice and lowering it on these sexy wheels!!!

Thanks again for the comments and keep them coming! Open for suggestions on what people think i should do with it etc!
              Cheers Loki

                Congrats on the rego.

With the wheels, a 15x7 ET25 generally sits flush with the gaurd. so an ET30 will sit further in by 5mm, rubbing shouldn't be an issue, providing you have the right tyres, I think a 195/50 should suit.

Personally, I'd just leave the odd wheel out, and put it in my garage or make a coffee table out of it or something.

                  Future plans,
Looking at new wheels now, anyone that has anything forsale shoot me a pm.
Have a few ideas but also open for suggestions,
Painting it a deep gloss white, lowering (ALOT!)
Have taken it for small drive and it goes great, was expecting alot worse, any tips on how to tune these little 1.8 engines and get even more grunt would be much appreciated. i assume they removed the ignition system and put a carby setup on for ease of setup.

                  Cheers Loki and Leah [/QUOTE]

What's the colour /paint code? would be a nice colour freshened up.

Yeh i may leave them as is for now and screw on a 5mm spacer if it isnt enough for my liking! The car drives great, the engine is very torquey and it goes great for the cars age! Starting to looking into exhaust systems and exhaust manifolds, possibly changing from single downdraft weber to twin webers on an aftermarket exhaust manifold with a 2 inch exhaust system???
Any prices or know of anyone on this site that would be interested in selling an exhaust manifold, exhaust sytems etc let me know!
I will check what the paint code is hopefully tomorrow and post it up!
Street art wheels quoted me 300 a rim to machine the lip and paint the insert gloss black! I dont want to spend that much so i have lined up a spray painter that will paint them for free and will get just the gutter rash machined out for 55 a rim which only 2 have bad gutter rash so thats a bonus!
Now contemplating coilovers aswell for the price the hot tuning coilovers sound like a terrific deal! anyone got any good bad comments on them?

                    Cheers again for the comments,

                    Loki

I run hottuning coilovers on my mk1 they are great for street use i cant fault them best thing is the inserts can be changed if you want to change them, as for exhausts id look at a 2 1/4 system mandrel system my mate just got this setup on his mk1 cabby think it was $350 i run the same on my 16v.

haha hey JMAC! We finally got one haha!

Id love to know where he got the $350 mandrel bent exhaust from? i want either single tip coming out the back on a right angle pointing up slightly or twin pipes pointing slightly up!

Yeh i got a price delivered for the coilovers and will definately consider getting a set of those, any idea on what i should ask for my bilstein shocks and springs when i rip them out?

                          Cheers again,

The system is mild steel mandrel bend from extractors back with 1 muffler for $350 it pretty basic no cat, but needs to add a resonator (extra $80 or so) its to loud and sounds crap my system is stainless steel mandrel from extractors back with 1 muffler $750 sounds great on the 16v don't need a resonator.

After thinking into it a little further we are going to paint he car its original colour with a very wet looking clear over it!
It will be slightly shaved, removing the antenna points and keeping everything very neat!
The wheels are going to get sandblasted this arvo and then we will be painting them, that brings me to the next part whether to colour code the wheel inserts or to paint the insert black?

Drove the car to brisbane the other day and was amazed how well these little cars drive! Even with the standard brakes!!!
Tomorrow going to go down and source a filter to fit over the weber at the back instead of having the massive intake pipe and having to relocate the battery to the boot (will probably put the battery back in the boot and rewire everything in the future but still would rather not have all that intake piping).

Will post more pics up tomorrow hopefully and of the rims after they have been sandblasted and before and after pics!

                                Cheers Loki
