Yeh im heaps keen to get them on the car! just got to let them dry a little more before i take them down to get machined! i need the enamel to harden right up!

Ok so its been a busy couple of weeks but the golf is finally getting some more attention, this weekend the rims lips are being machined nicely!
Will post up some pics tomorrow if i get them back in time, if not monday arvo ill have them back!
Hopefully will be able to get the tyres fitted tomorrow aswell if all goes well!
Brainstorming some ideas for the centre caps, after viewing the latest performance vw magazine with the orange mk1 with the louis vuitton centre caps its given me some ideas on what i can do to give it a touch of difference to any other remotec rims.
So far thinking of a carbon backed centre cap with the hand vw symbol like on the back of the car and remotec aswell, unsure of what colour combo to go! thinking of something a little different like the hot pink on the wheel whores stickers!
Still in the ideas stage haha let me know what you think i should put in the centre caps???

Sooo finally the wheels are finished and are down at the tire shop getting some 6 inch rubber stretched onto the 7 inch rims, didnt want to go crazy with stretch as this is meant to be our "legal car"
Ill post up more pictures on monday afternoon when we get them back from the tyre shop and have a chance to polish them up.





Let me know what you think and what i should do with the centre caps?

Yeh I was thinking the same thing but I'd still like to do something cool with the centre caps so I can throw them on every Now n then for something different. Any ideas?

VW emblems on the centres would look better. Nice rims btw.

Yeh I was thinking of a carbon centre cap with a white or pink hand symbol vw in the centre! Will see if I can get a friend of mine to do a few different styles that I can try on! Keen as mustard to get them on the car and lower it!!!

Got some new plates for my wrx today so the golf will have the loki7 plates on it and the rexi will have the new NO SLIP prestige plates!!! New engine mount today and new coil and headlight bulbs! Still trying to track down a set of crystal headlights with the black cross hairs if anyone knows where to get them please pm me!!!
