The valve caps are just a novelty for a bit of fun!!! Definately well worth the effort!!! Can't wait to lower it to finish the look off! The ml1 now has the new personalized lok17 plates on it!

I agree with you Loki, tinted windows generally look crap on older cars.

I certainly don't think it'd would suit your car. hth

Ok so i gave it a really good going over today at the carwash, nice 30 minute scrub got it gleeming!!! New number plates are on from the rexi and the wheels are polished up!
Heres some pics of it and i hope you dont mind theres a couple of my other pride and joy the wrx that ive been slowly modifying for over 3 years now i fitted the new NO SLIP plates to it yesterday!,
the engine is built and is going in for a dyno run in the next couple of weeks!
Anyway I couldnt find the digital camera again today so ive just taken some more nice day shots of both the cars off the iphone!

Let me know what you think (and yes definately in need of some coilovers!!!)

So next on the list is the,
                  Coilovers
                  Crystal headlights with the crosshairs
find another front bar end cap
finish off the centre caps with a nice touch of something
Strip and paint bit by bit!!!

Exciting stuff, starting to come along great now!

                  Cheers loki

                    Very nice!

I have to ask, what's the offset on those wheels? Look to come close to the end of the flares and I'm trying to suss out what will and won't fit a mk1

They wheels are 15x7 et30! It's got a little rim to
move! I will see what they are like when we lower it and how close it gets to scrubbing!

yea you might have to cut the inside of the arches and flares when you lower it, depending how low you go of course.

looks the goods. and that rex doesn't look too dippy either.

you should also clear the coilovers fine with that offset, the tyres may be a problem though, might rub the coils

Yeh I'll have to keep an eye on the lowering of it! The tyres a slightly stretched so I didn't think they would be a Drama on the car?

What do u mean by dippy??? Hahah

hmm... poorly modified (in my eyes atleast. you know, big chromies, bad body kits, etc etc)

I can't stand when people put chromies on rexies! They look ****e and not what they were intended for! I love jdm and that's how I built the wrx! Although it looks stockish it's far from it! Similar to mk1s and most nice cars it's simple mods that set cars off in my opinion! No fiberglass here, all original jdm sti parts! The tailights for example are worth around 500 as they are the jap 22b ones with the white frosted lense instead of having the orange indicator in them, all indicators changed so there's no orange, I could go on With what else is in it but I would fill a page haha but this isn't the forum for it haha! Sorry for those of you who fell asleep reading this!
I will get some engine shots of the rexi after we finish some more work on it in the coming weeks! Holidays ftw!!!
