Thanks mate, its going to be a very slow build but when its finished will look great! going on the 2nd to get plasti-dip, (all the way in Hoppers Crossing...and west gate is F***ed at the moment :S)
Will be doing the mirrors, pillars, centers of the wheels, some engine bay plastics, radio trim surrounds and maybe try a few little things... Golf and 2.0 TDI maybe... all gloss black so that should all be done sometime before next weekend

Then will be saving for Koni FSD shocks with Neuspeed Race Springs... for some Lowss (1.8")

Got the plasti dip today wheels will be finished tonight I've done 1 and am half way through the other 4-5 coats of black with 2 light coats of gloss just for a nice little shine but not bold

Wheels came up nice aswell as the mirrors in a nice light gloss, pillars are horrible and the engine bay items didn't look very neat so I think I might give them a go another time have left over anyway.

Pillars failed because of my masking job I didn't leave enough space from the spray area and I didn't eat a clean rip so I will give them a go again sometime soon.
Engine bay was me stuffing up and also not liking the colour.

Very happy with the product and the results on the parts I didn't ruin!

Happy that the two parts that look the best re the main ones I wanted to do!

New Canbus should be here Friday thanks to 9090GO a member here
3 Month old RCD510 will be installed along with it this weekend (Sunday by the looks of things) Thanks to XQUIZT another member here

I forecast a high chance of huge smiles from me this Sunday!

Hmmmm.....I think all black wheels would have been better than leaving that exposed aluminum ring around it - makes the wheels look like smaller diametre wheels. Needs to be lowered pronto.

Yeh I noticed that poyta but when I dipped the wheels I did it all black and didn't like it as much as with the lip (and then it doesn't make the handles look out of place, because I don't want to get rid of them I love them for some reason)

Yeh Grandparents don't want me to lower it till I get my P's but if I can convince them then it will be done ASAP!

Forcefed, Yeh the height makes me abit sick sometimes, I struggle with the altitude...

After very red sore hands an a few swear words I got these disgusting looking emblems out!

Used a thin small flathead screwdriver (which was to big and couldn't get under it) so ended up using the nail file thing on the nail clippers... Very thin and a good point.

(Previous owner somehow did all this must of played hockey with them)
The only damage done by me was the bending of them trying to get them out!


Time to order some different ones

Canbus was a real pain in the ass! Because the space is so tight with the clutch pedal there... Auto would of been a 30 second job.

RCD 510 looks good and you get the option of RVC in future = WIN >D

Yeah I might go down the rvc track later on (still not sure, cool feature but I don't have any problems parking hahaha
