Will look amazing. Already does but even better! I really wanted to find a white TDI but could only find 1.9 or auto can't go wrong with white!

Speaking of your car how much did the roof wrap cost if you don't mind me asking I got a quote of around 350 was just wondering is that's high?

I really hope so. One of my shocks is slowly dying so it needed to be replaced.

I paid around $250 for my roof. 3M 1080 is more expensive I think.

How long have you had your springs? And how many kms on you car? (I'm looking at getting just springs first then getting shocks later.
Hmm have to have a look at a few other places just to Compare prices could be coz Melbourne is so expensive...

Bought the car with about 75k. It has now done 120k and the springs probably around 25-30k. Nothing wrong with the springs but standard TDI suspension is very soft compared with GTI/GT struts. Give it some slammage and it definitely decreases their lifespan.

I'm planning to do a suspension refresh before I put in my coilovers. So far have got new front strut top mounts and rear castor bushes. Just need to get some rear shock mounts and maybe some new ball joints.

Then the car will be rolling out like new again.

Awesome thanks I think I'll go with springs for a whole then put some FSD KONI shocks or some pedders locally depending on price

I'd be interested to hear what CoilOvers you ended up getting and then even more I'd be interested to see how low you can go with them. From memory your 19's stuck out quite a bit and even with your H&R springs the tyres rubbed on the guards at times?
Oh and I too got some Christmas presents so I'll try a make the diesel section less boring too soon

i really wanted to go with coilovers but with my little girl i dont want her to be uncomfortable, she loves the car and has fun so i dont want to ruin that... but to lows of coilovers are just so goooooood!

I bought Gregs KW V3s. I'm going to set the dampening to a fair bit firmer so it should sort out issues.

1 out of 4 rims came today... Can't see any logic in that as it just means they have to do another trip and hopefully they bring the rest.

Mixture of emotions... Happy as I am seeing them in the flesh and am pleased to say they look even better in person...
But annoyed because I only have 1 of 4.
