By the looks of things i will be going with Pedders springs.
i think its only around a 30-40mm drop. but at least i wont be looking like a Hilux anymore.
This will be done either just before or just after my Driving test for my P's so the end of march thereabouts.

Just won the item for $275 Posted with under 5000kms.

Thanks mate, yea I was originally going to leave the intake til a lot later but at that price with my 18th birthday coming up on the 22nd I thought... He'll, why not? Haha
The owner is a great guy (I told him he should join the forums) he is selling his Tdi and looking for a R32 (told him to come look here aswell haha)
He has made a small bracket that he is also including for free that gives the intake some extra support as he said sometimes it would shake and he cleaned the filter and everything aswell!

When you go for your first drive, get up to max boost at 3k rpm, then let it off.
Make sure you have the windows open...
Being a diesel it doesn't have any sututu's, but it does have a nice pssh as the VGT turns the boost down.

Yeh that's what I figured, even stock I can hear it at around 2500-3100. But I seem to be the only one in the car thY can hear it... Haha
Apparently it's best to let the car run for 10-15 minutes after the initial install just so the Ecu can familiarise its self

I let it run for maybe a minute while I cleaned up then hopped in and went for a drive around the main road loop (about 3k's) - not a hard run, just listening.
MAF sensor shows the engine pulls 1,300cfm (cubic feet per minute) air now instead of the stock 1,050. I'm getting worse average economy when I go heavy (but that could just be due to the sexy sexy noice) and better economy on the highway.
Combined with a cat back 3" high flow the sound is simply beautiful.

Got a package today! Intake is here! Didn't get a chance to install it till about 7pm but toolkit for a 10 minute run while filling up...
Can feel a quicker throttle response, can't notice the induction noise much more than stock (slightly more) but was pretty windy so I couldn't hear much. Sounds good in the driveway can hear a nice vocal induction noise photo of the engine bay will be up soon
