No HPFP or intercooler so the power output is fuelling limited at the moment.

If I did these 2 mods I'd be pushing 235kwaw and the only thing stopping it going 12's on the 1/4 mile would be lack of traction.

I've actually driven a stage 2+ Scirocco with semi-slicks and 235kwaw and the thing is brutally quick, but still struggles to get the power to the ground in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. The issue then becomes intervention of stability control in 4th gear causing throttle cut due to wheel spin.

I'll check but I think it was just a piece of gravel/rock.

Ran the car on the dyno today - 222kwaw...

Got the same power out of my R but with the torque hitting around 433nm. No HPFP or IC although the IC is getting installed next Thursday.

Is it an IS38 turbo in the Rock?

Scirocco has the same engine as Mk6 R with the K04 turbo.

Put my RamAir intake on this week. Man it is loud! My wife isn't a fan (but I don't particularly care) haha.

Did you have to modify (trim) the aluminium heat shield plate to fit around the headlight and radiator pipe?

Yes it is loud and my wife is not a fan either (she feels a bit self-conscious when driving and thinks everyone is looking at her).

No modification necessary. I had some clearance concerns with the fan, however when the 2 parts of the cover bolted up it pulled the bottom section away.

Wierd... maybe they sent the wrong plate. I had to cut out a 50mm radius U shaped piece out of the plate for one of the vertical piped and also had to cut a square piece off to clear the back of the headlight... worked fine though I just cut it, filed it and sprayed it black.

Do you know whether it's possibly to tighten the diverter valve spring so it doesn't discharge at such low boost levels? I'd prefer to hear a bit of flutter rather than the long pssshhhtt noise...

I'd already installed a Forge DV so haven't run it with the stock DV.

OK after further consideration I've decided to go back to stage 1. Boss at work had made some comments and wife wasn't happy with the noise. I'm not really concerned eitehr way but I understand the boss' point of view (it's a company paid for vehicle).

Anyway my loss is your gain. Exhaust and intake have been removed and are for sale:
