Cheers John. Yeah not 100% on the bonnet pins either Andrew but there is no provision for a latch. It's nice and light though and it really lets out a great amount of under bonnet heat so it's not a gimmick!

Thanks mate for the reminder I better I update my build.

For the moment I have not adjusted my tune, advanced the timing or increased boost to work with the water meth. I don't want to be dependent on it so I have installed it with a On/off switch. Logs taken so far have proven what its primary function is being to cool the intake charge. On a hot day with outside temps in the 30's and ambient temp in the 40's the car maintained power at the dyno of 245 to 252 kw which were power figures take on the dyno when temps were in the low 20's. Timing was nut pulled in higher RPM's due to heat soak with the meth and results were within 0.6 of timing set. Without water meth it pulled back up to 6 degrees. So it works.

As a general rule (or really just to have some fun) I turn it on when teamps hit 30 and I can instantly feel the engine response. Liken it to a cool day when you take it for a run or like my previous cars which ran on aviation fuel.

It is definitely a worthwhile upgrade and worth mucking around with.

What DP are you running if you don't mind me asking? I've been looking at SPM pretty closely, maybe Eurojet or Milltek

My DP is a customized item to fit the hybrid turbo. I personally had both brands you mentioned and happy with both. I like the eurojet for the v band connections and is well fabricated.

What is the NVH like with the engine mount and Whiteline anti lift kit?

Just drove it for about 30km just now, I have a DSG, so the first feeling is there are more vibrations and noise when it is idle on D, and at low rev, but as soon as the turbo kicks in, it is much better. So I have to leave at N when stop in front of traffic light so not sure where it comes from (with my very limited mechanical knowledge ), I suspect the mount hasn't been settled.

The NVH probably won't change much for WAIK.

I just love the cornering grip it added along with sway bars, and can feel that the body roll is definitely reduced. Hmm, the other thing probably is a little more harsh on Normal mode. But not an issue for daily ride. Love it
