Looking good mate. Definitely want to get the rust sorted asap.
I'm digging the anti grip device you've got sitting on the rear axel there. Ads some real character.
About time for an update here, its been a while, this thread has been here since the first week the forum started.
The Corrado is starting to get a bit rough, the paint especially, i had a very small bubble of rust under one of the rear windows when i first bought it which has got worse, its now getting to the point where i can't stand looking at it anymore, so many little dents and scratches appearing !! I had alot of use out of it when i lived in Byron Bay which was fun, nearly sold it a couple of times, but now i've decided to keep it so its time for a respray and a bit of TLC !
I've ordered plenty of new parts, still waiting on loads but got some through today at last, and i'm dropping it off tomorrow for a fresh coat of paint.
Rust never sleeps as Neil says, gonna be colour coding those door handles
Bumper is out of line after hitting it on the other side, gonna be removing those side repeaters, and the door moulding is off and staying in the bin
De-Wipered the rear too
Rallye FMIC will be going in at last
New Rallye Radiator arrived today, huge compared to the standard Rado G60 Rad
New Door Sill scuff plates came today too
I'm excited, can't wait to get some 17" RS, looks like i'll be getting these, 8" rear and 7.5" front RS 301's
Yes,back in oz at last.
I decided to put the corrado in a container in the end. That way i could fill up the rest of it with all my junk from the uk. Got a couple of engines in there too. One mk4 24v vr6 and a mk3 2l gti.
Should be here soon.
We will have to meet up some time Matt.
If i pop down to sydney i'll give you a shout.
Jay
Hi Jay ! Good to hear from you, take it you're back in Australia ?
Yeah the Euro plates are the best i think, the others don't fill the front bumper reccess and look a bit odd IMO. Getting plenty of weird looks yes !
Did you do Ro Ro for the other one then ?? Be awesome if you could get dome pics up mate.
Thanks for all your help in the past mate !
Hi Matt
Great to see you got the car all sorted. I see you went for the euro plates, which look cool.
Must be getting lots of looks at the moment with people wandering what the hell it is.
Me other one should be here soon too. Can't wait.
Theres a black scirocco at Bondi that would make a nice full house if anyone knows the owner.
Anyone else coming?

Well done!
Congrats, Mate. A privilege to have you aboard. As far as I know there are no Corrados in Tassie , so when you get a job and some $$$s come over and make us all jealous.
