For sure Golf3, you guys can always come round and have a look when i get it back, but i'll be taking Doms wheels back once i've got the 5 stud conversion done and the new rimmage on, would be good to meet you too.

Cheers Tim, i'm thinking the Golf 2 and 3 have the same antenna base which would be the same as mine so i'll have to get one off you.

Tim, those stubby Sharan antennas, do they fit nice on a Mk 2 or 3 Golf, i want one for the Corrado if its a factory fit.

They are a really nice fit on a mk3. Not lined one up on a mk2 yet though to be honest to see how well it fits.

True, he was really quiet the week it was painted, he was saying that no work was coming in, then all of a sudden he has loads of insurance jobs and another guy wanting a respray on an old Lotus.

sounds like a typical body shop experience. They always seeem to be running late unless its an insurance job

Cheers, yeah i'm looking forward to seeing it done to, its sat in the body shop still, bit annoyed now tbh, he said the end of this week but i just saw it and nothing has changed for 2 weeks, keeps doing other jobs whilst mine is sat there. I don't want to rush him at the same time though so i'm trying to be patient.
Its painted, but the windows need to go back in and a couple of small areas of the clear coat need doing again.

I got 2 of the 17" RS here now, itching to try one on.

Yep, and I envy you for your bonnet! Haha, i don't like the 16v bonnet. I'll check out the link. Am looking forward to seeing pics of your car finished!

Hi mate, thanks, it should look good soon !

The sound deadening came from ARZ, but yours being a 16V will be different, your bonnet is shaped like -_- and mine like _-_ if that makes sense ! Unless yours has the hump in the middle the pattern of the foam panels is different, and i'm not sure if ARZ had the early type. The link is above, have a look....

They've been very helpful, just got my tow eye covers and spoiler control unit so it comes up at 75mph instead of 45mph, always annoyed me. They sent me a free t-shirt last time and a free coffee mug this time !!

Jay, you're back in Brisbane mate, you were away for a while, you just missed E38 before you came back ...
Cheers, it had its first coat of paint today, had a peek through the spray booth window after work. With the parts i got, alot came from GPC, got them sent to my parents who posted them on to me. They told me some parts were obsolete, but i managed to get bits through VW in Melbourne and ARZ Tuning in Germany (www.ARZTuning.de), well worth a look at their site Jay, online shop, just tap corrado into the search and you're bound to find something to buy ! Fancy driving down to Melbourne for DOVW then !! 3 Rados in one place would be fun !
Treza you're right, i was lazy, they are P-Zero Nero's, what do you think of them ? I've heard they're pretty good from others .....

Shame about E38. Would have been great to see. Glad the car is going well. I need to get one sprayed too. Thanks for the links to the parts. They do have a lot of stuff. DOVW sounds good but just a bit far to drive for me. Seeing all the corrado's would be great! Perhaps another time!
