V7 Maps for Australia

I left the battery on the charger over night and this morning it showed 12.48 volts , but I rang Sydney batteries and ordered a new one , when the technician arrived he checked the battery and because Ive been driving it all day it read the same 12.48 with 600 cranking amps but after a few minutes it dropped a few points so the new ones in Excide 650 ,ill just wait for a few days now and see if it goes flat .

Just ordered a v7 map disc from JKU for the Superb. Will I lose my existing POI's (installed from a forum download) when I load the new map data?

Loaded v7 map disk. Showing version 8035 so presume installed.
Now do nor have traffic lights displayed. I rarely use the maps / navigation however I'm pretty sure with v6 maps traffic lights were displayed. Any suggestions to get traffic light interchanges back again? Is it something in set up I am overlooking?

I haven't seen traffic lights. If you put in the personal POI with cameras, you will get the red light/speed cameras though (loaded via sdcard, POIs on these forums somewhere). They have a little traffic light GIF.

I think the only lights i have seen without the POI is when navigating and comes with lane assist where necessary when turning intersections (or am I mixing up with my Samsung Navigation for this?).

Liquid force, you are replying to the wrong person, and you will only get those options available with custom POIs (either loaded as personal POI s with sdcard, or cut into the maps DVD by a DVD modification/hack).

Only speed cameras No traffic lights. Can be done in other devices but not our wonderful VW Nav unit LOL

The POIs you can download or you can purchase 8 GB SD card with it.

Thanks to all for prompt feedback. As I mentioned rarely use the maps/nav function and had it in my mind that traffic lights were displayed. Going back to v6 quickly showed me that no traffic lights there either so v7 now installed again. I do have my red light camera interchanges from my POI's as someone pointed out.

To clarify between the VW and your Samsung which you seemed confused about. I have lane assist and nothing appears when turning.

Only a voice saying "Turn Now" 25 m before the corner.

Would end up in a few driveways if I did what it said LOL

This is a little off topic, but I am trying to work out if I can search for street names without entering city or postcode. I have a friend who said this is an option on the RNS 850

You can but they might not be in the city you are in. Think about it as it will find all those names in the database regardless of location.

Been there done that.
