Mate, that looks the goods.. So, can you let us know if your audio complaint relates to just the bluetooth side and if the music sound quality is cool... Also it does run Win CE 5.0 right?? If so the TomTom and a few others will work ok... If it's CE4.5 I will wait, if it's 5.0 I can see 2 of these heading to Perth real soon Eay Steve

Umm one other detail, lights up red like standard radio, around controls I mean ?

Guys, I recommend you do not rush into this unit.
I discovered last night that if running Satnav, the radio or ipod will not play in the background. It is one menu item at a time. Normal practice is to have music running in background when in satnav mode.
I also used the DVD and the picture was a little broken up.
This may be a new unit, and still require a little more firmware upgrading to make it acceptable.
I have placed a call with the supplier, and waiting on their feedback.
If this is not an isolated issue, I will be removing and returning for a refund. Not looking promising at this moment.
I had wondered when I saw that the front panel had different buttons than the Auspack unit, so if anyone knows the guy from Auspack, if he is no longer in the business, he might let us know where he was sourcing them from? That unit might be more refined.

Was just about to go and order a pair of these, thanks for the hint. I know we can buy the same units off Whitcon direct but their chosen payment offer does not enlighten me at all, Western Union sucks balls I reckon..

Other alternative with them is direct deposit to nominated bank accounts... Mmmm those advertised in the UK might be a better alternative.. Oh joy, just when it looked so close to a decision.. But mate, thank you sop much for your invaluable remarks.

2. Free iGO Australia maps in a 2GB SD card will come with the item. The map data is the latest 4th quarter of 2007 version. All of our other Australian customers are happy with the map version. The item can also support other mapping that is compatible with WindowsCE net platform
3. You can listen to music/radio while GPS running in the background. The operation is as following: firstly you set a routing and start GPS navigation, then you press ?mode? to select the music you would like to listen. When there is a navigation voice guide, the music will pause; after the navigation voice guide ends, the music will go on. If you will drive on a path turning left and right continually, the music and navigation voice will have to shift too often, this is boring so that you can?t well listen to neither navigation voice guide or music, so we suggest you don?t select music function at that situation. I still am relatively happy with my HiTV V2000

It looks better than that unit and matches the colour of the dash.

It has all those features and it actually allows listening of iPod and Radio with Nav on.

Which is the exact same reason I am not going through Hap-penis Trading.

I have been able to source an AVC9000 via a third party (item is brand new, and coming from Auspak). Don't get too excited guys, Auspak is not returning to business (as far as I know), but sending the final units he (Rob) has to those who ordered prior to his illness.
