the 'cubby hole' is the space behind the coin box under the headlight switch. it gives you access the the relays etc.

Yes. Shipment arrived yesterday and I ordered in more so that I actually get to keep one this time!!!!

After my issues getting the first unit working with my R, Damien shipped me a replacement unit pretty much straight away which arrived earlier this week.

Now that I've got the cubby-hole access sorted it took no more than 30 seconds to install the replacement unit and confirm that it's all working perfectly now. There was an additional recommended 'synchronisation' task to perform at the recommendation of Auto Polar after plugging in the unit but other than that everything is as it should be.

Now I need to decide what information I would like displayed on each available screen.

I'm not sure which models the synchronisation task is essential for but as it's recommended with white/colour MFD best to do it as a precaution.

OK. So I've got 4 units left from the last batch of 10.

I can guarantee delivery of these before Christmas but once they're gone next shipment probably won't be until next year.

I believe his wife drives the car 90% of the time and she probably wouldn't use it but speak to Miro to confirm.

I think he still has this unit available and would probably do a good deal for tune and FIS.

Yes, as Damien said, I drive the Tig maybe 0.5% of the time and wife doesn't like the complicated things in the car. After driving the car for 2 years, she couldn't turn the headlights on, it was getting really dark when she was on the way to work, she had to pull over and call me, it was a verry distressed call (she new I turned them off)...

Miro... must get you round to install my FIS+ at some stage. Looks like the firmware's got to a nice stable point now.

the parking sensor distance thing is awesome

lets me know exactly how far things are away from the back of the car.

I don't have front sensors, but still seemed to work fine
