the parking sensor distance thing is awesome

lets me know exactly how far things are away from the back of the car.

I don't have front sensors, but still seemed to work fine

Cool I had a bit of a play but didn't get it working. I thought you had to have OPS system for it to work.

Do you just have reverse sensors fitted?

I fitted an RVC so I get to see how close I am but the mm displays would be nice.
I'll have to give it another go.

it appears the polar settings aren't saving, so I don't get it anymore unless I turn it on. ill inform them on the auto polar forum.

Yeah I know with the reverse sensors you just get a flatline beep and you've kind of got to stop.

With the mm readout you can probably get down to the mm precision (if you dare!).

Yes, I think they're aware that some of the comfort settings aren't getting saved properly - hopefully fixed in 0.3.7.

I have a new shipment of Auto-Polar FIS+ units arriving next week.

These are an updated hardware revision which is now being manufactured in Spain (previous units were built in China) so quality of the product should be improved in the new second generation units.

Due to the higher spec and the fact that the Auto-Polar units are about to be supplied through a number of local tuners (who have to run a business and charge 10% GST), pricing for the units has been increased to $369.

For forum members this price will include shipping Australia-wide.

Good news is that I still have 2 x rev 1 units left at the "old" price of $300 pick-up or $310 shipped.

PM me if you're interested - either for the last of the rev 1 units or for a new rev 2 unit.

Both units will run the same firmware and therefore have the same features (at this stage at least).
