Can you just confirm your partition sizes?

HDD is showing approx. 33GB, so it has repartitioned it to 90/5/5. Thought it might have as it took a while to do the HDD step during the upgrade.

I think this makes the unit shut down completely earlier than before (used to be 30 mins I think to stay on during a 'quick duck into the shops'). I'm seeing the VW logo more often.

It's my turn and did the upgrade to 4120 from kamold's custom Fw4020.

As far I can tell, nothing was lost. Instantly I get the station text. My settings seemed intact. Haven't tested VIM etc.

I don't have the West Euro maps and dont intend to download them, but my feeling is that the maps partition will need at least 25% of available space on 30GB hard drives for v9 maps so have made a version of 412x firmware with 70/25/5 ratios.

I would NOT install on a B unit. It may work but not worth the risk of finding out it doesn't.

Thank you for this updated firmware.

Unfortunately when the upgrade gets to the HDD, an 'error 135' comes up. I then get the SWL update failed screen with the message 'error HDD error partitioning HDD' and a software loading error 010303.

I have tried different discs, CD and DVD and all have the same result.
The unit is a 1T0035680F

I presume your HDD is 40GB?

OK found the issue with EU 4120 custom...I can't add three numbers correctly to 100....omg...
