That's correct. If you did chance upon a camera with hard coded lines it would show triple now. So for others sourcing cameras from elsewhere, it's still important to get one without hard coded lines.
this is what my rvc shows...
is the red arrow pointing at the hard coded lines?
is the red arrow pointing at the hard coded lines?
Yes.. you need a cam like in my post earlier with no lines if it bothers you.
Some other brands of navis dont have those lines so the cams provide a distance reference.

Yea..that static lines was pointing you the distance of if any object at the rear to your bumper, the red static line was the closer to your bumper and some will be shown as this;
I know this has been discussed before but not sure if a solution was found. My ANS-810 has a hard time reading my 32GB SD card. Some days it reads just fine, others it says "BAD SD" and others it loads but then says the track is 12:15-12:15 and nothing plays and no menus/folders are available. It used to happen every other day, now it is most every drive. If I pop the SD card out or restart the radio, or switch from radio back to SD usually i can get it to go but some days it takes a combination of all these or 2-3 resets of the device. Then it picks up like nothing ever happened. Is my card going bad? Maybe I will try a new one or smaller one and see what effect that has.
Just wondering if anyone with a similar experience can chime in.
Maybe it doesn't mean anything, or it's already how you have it, but you can try formatting it in FAT (not FAT32). I think it's something related to formats...
FAT also has file limits in the root folder, something like 512 files.
The size if the card shouldn't matter, more so the size of your content and how many music files you have. You could try reformatting your card and copying the music back. You could also try reflashing the MCU. You can't flash the same version as you currently have, so flash to an older version and then flash back to the current version. Do this without the card in your media slot, and insert it back after you finish flashing and the unit has booted into radio. Remember an MCU flash resets your radio stations and equaliser settings.
I have sent videos to Audiosources. Sometimed the rev cam comes up, sometimes it needs a 2nd go, sometimes it doesnt.
If you put straight into rev when you start off the gps doesnt always fire up. Its something to do with the interaction between the 2 processors I reckon.
If your saying there are no issues now what version is that please?

Thanks!!
I have similar issues with a 16GB SD card formatted with FAT32. Works fine most of the time, but if I remove the card to add tracks etc, it takes a few goes slotting it back in before the unit recognises it and can read it. I also get the 12:15-12:15 error regularly and have to power cycle the unit to clear it. It is a good idea to try out a different SD card to be sure, but my feeling is that it is not necessarily a problem with your card as several others have mentioned having the same issues. I am patiently awaiting new firmware to hopefully resolve these intermittant but annoying issues.
I'm having the same issue. Any new updates or resolution?

Please read my previous posts on the issue, as I said I have many customers with RVC and they don't have this issue - I would need to know more details e.g. did you use a relay switch, have you tested the connection etc. The software is designed so that as long as there is a feed in the RVC slot, the RVC image will override everything else. So if you have intermittent issues, the cause would be the RVC signal. It's possible for the hardware to be faulty in detecting the signal but the most likely cause by far is the wiring.

I think this issue has to do with the unit's memory of last song played - you may have noticed the memory sticks even after a full firmware flash. Similarly if you changed the contents of the SD card, the memory may not change and could get corrupted. This is why I recommend a MCU flash (which clears the other media settings) with your SD card out of the media slot. After MCU flash is complete and your unit boots into radio, THEN insert the card again and it should start its song memory from new.
I've raised the issue with Audiosources but as I said the recent weeks they have been focused on the new unit so any updates would come some time after the new unit is released. By then they could also have a long list of things they need to do and this particular fix may or may not happen in the next firmware release. I will be pushing for results best as I can, as always.

.
Its not hardware related, at least in my case. I am currently conversing with Audiosources and they are making me up a new update to try to improve the issue.
Im guessing a lot of your customers just havent recognised the issues as such or havnt posted here again.
I will post my outcomes if any in a later post.
