Does this support the MDI? I know it doesn't support stock Bluetooth, so do you have to mount a mic somewhere or can it pickup on the stock mic?

The mic is in the head unit itself. On my ANS 810 it is adjacent to the upper left knob. It is a small pinhole. No external mic is needed.

Have the mention issues with AM radio, and the MFS display sorted out and the answer call of the steering wheel control?

I have a factory fitted GPS enertainment system (10 Speaker) in my 2005Mk V

January was when I was hoping to get a test unit, I've indicated a few times in recent posts that the release now won't be till March. Either way it's definitely not January since it's February already...

Can you announce what features it's going to have over the current solution?

Yes I've gradually released more information in that post over the past couple of months, you now pretty much have all the concrete information, there are more planned but unconfirmed features so I'll let everyone know for sure after I receive a unit myself.

Mirrorlink style android connectivity, search function in Bluetooth phonebook and music library. They are also working on phonebook display in MFD and navigation directions in MFD, but these two won't be ready when the unit is first released. These are confirmed features, I'll be able to tell you more when I get my hands on a unit.

I don't know right now, but I would expect it would have more to do with the android version than other factors.
