RCD 510 Premium * Clock????

Picked up my R today and love it however the wife has complained there is no clock in the display unit, the manual says its an option but under system settings there is no option to display the clock. I am thinking this version is without a clock and info would be appreciated

Isn't there a clock at the top of the display in front of you? Tell her to look there.

I just went out and checked, hit SETUP and then Select SYSTEM, it should have an option on the primary screen that says DISPLAY TIME - check the box

it should then display it where the radio station is on ther main display. If not I would look at upgrading the software but it should be a default

Exactly what the manual says but there is no check box for display clock

Hmm i have often wondered if i can get the time to display on the RCD510. Might have to check this when i get home to see if i have the option there to enable it.

Another thing I might suggest, if you have satnav sometimes the menus faff around so hit Navigation button followed by Maps button then hit Setup followed by System again to see if it comes up

Yes but the wife complains she cant see it from the passenger seat lol might be a good excuse to replace the wife also this maybe a stupid question but what the hell is disc that can be turned inside the glove box?
