aussietig: I'm at brisbane airport a lot and normally have bp, shell + traffic cameras on from your poi.

There are 2 shell servos on the poi but one doesn't exist, and it annoys me for some unknown reason everytime i drive to work

For your next update... the other shell will be gone in a month also to be replaced with a maccas/shell nearby.

Go to the Shell website and look for customer complaints link and file there. I took a download of coordinates straight from their website at the time.

Living in Sydney, I don't think this will annoy me enough to remember to fix it.

But hopefully your direct complaint to Shell will correct the next download (assuming there will be a V8 map next year) to motivate me to refresh my POIs.

RNS510 on new Passat built April 14

Our new Passat has RNS510 with
HW H23
SW 6270
The map says it is a Sensis product.

My question is: how does one turn on the school zones and safety/speed cameras? Out Tom Tom has them. My recollection is that I was in an R36 Passat about five years ago and it had them - maybe a poor memory.

You need to load up a personal DB, it is not included in the default map.

Just have to say thanks to Aussietig, great work man, i have had your file for ages from last year, just did an RNS update so i had to reload my POI's and it was nice to find that you updated them, love your work

Thanks for all the hard work that you guys have put in ,I just installed your latest POI and there great. If any one in the. St Marys. Area wants these on their. RNS Drops a PM. It's just a 5 minute job. If you want these installed.

Some POI's not displaying on RNS 510 (columbus)

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

I have V7 Maps with Aussietig's personal custom POI's.

The issue I have is that some of the custom POI's dont display on the map. I have speed cameras, enforcement points, and some banks and servos selected with only 9 POI's selected.

Only the cameras and Caltex servos display on the map. I can do a search for a selected POI and navigate to the POI, but I get no icon on the map.

I do get icons in the selected list of POI's and int he list of available POI's, just not on the map.

I have deselected all POI's then reselected them again, but no joy.

Any ideas short of a HDD reformat and start again?

I suggest re-downloading my POI file and loading it up again via SD Card.

You may also need to re-install V7 map, as may have a corrupted POI.db3 file in the map.

Have removed link and download to my previous custom POI file created in 2014.

New file containing 195 POI categories and refreshed up to March 2015 is currently being tested.

Fantastic news Aussietig.

Any chance of the info in another format? I'd love to get the cams into Discover Media and .db3 is pretty much the only way which won't work in one way or another.
