But of course he did, because he understands how much more betterer the Polo is!

3 of the dealerships I spoke to when I ordered my GTI said that at the release drive day down at Philip Island, the polo was keeping up with the R, yet leaving poor big brother Golf GTI behind!

Been fanging around in it, its great.

Initial impressions: Torque steer is back, wheel spin is back.

DSG in "D" is uninspiring, but perfect for traffic driving. "S" mode a whole lot better. Have to get used to using the paddles.

Doesn't feel as fast as the old one, but it is faster - a more grown up package.

Very impressive little package, should sell very well.

Hopefully in line with the other twincharger software (Golf)

OK - so from what I have worked out with my limited DSG operational skills:

                There is no Launch Control.

Anyway, in Sport mode, I managed to equal 6.9 0-100 manufacturers numbers, so thats a nice little number to start with!

OK, its hit the dyno in stock form this morning.

Good numbers @ wheels - pretty much spot on VW's numbers. Twincharger gives a hot intake blast (as we have seen from previous twinchargers we have worked on)

Who wants to guess the output? - Atmospheric temp was 28 degrees. Dyno dynamics in shootout mode.

108.24kw (that'd be about 18% drive train loss if the VW figures of 132kw are right).

So that would mean 12.8% drive train loss, if we assume the dyno is 100% accurate (lol ) and VW's numbers are accurate too!

Yeah, its a good number in stock form, 6th gear on the DSG & the power & torque curves are beautiful (that twincharger is so smooth!)
