I hate saying this, as you get older you really enjoy your cars to run smooth and quiet but still be able to have bucket loads of power under your right toes to turn tires.

Trust me dude, I considered dropping the 2l with the jenvey's and a 288.

Making up the turbo pluming. Trying to keep it oem looking.

Not much to report on! Had a play around with som 3inch pipe and a welder.

Picked this up a couple of years back. Think I might use it on the mk1?

Ok, so the other night George dropped in and we decided to have a go at cranking the motor over to see what happens.

Yeeeep..... After about 20min of identifying and twirling some wires together she fired up and ran like a clock. We had to shut it down after about 30 seconds due to no radiator fitted as yet.

Super exited to finish the wiring off and cooling system now.

Everything cooling related is new, radiator, heater core, heater tap, expansion tank, water pump, thermostat, hoses.



I also decided to go for the larger mk2 radiator.
