Last one, not going fast here, just tagging a slow elfin while I studied the track and tried to figure it out.

Was out welding up Ziggy today and thought I'd better plug up a few holes in White while I was at it.

White got hood lift struts today.
Bonnet spends a lot of time open and these make access easier.

Thanks to all that popped by to say hello today.
New setup is paying off at Sandown, new PB of 1:39:02
Racing was very well organised by the Fiat Car club.
Very diverse field of entrants form $100 Coronas to no expense spared BMW M3s and GT40 replicas.
Great weather and the car was running well.
The race format was a bit odd,
- Practice, 1 Warm up 1 flying and 1 cool down lap
- Round 1 & 2 - 1 warm up, 12 minutes flying and 1 cool down lap.
- Round 3 & 4 - 1 Warm up, 3 flying and 1 cool down lap.
I think they realised they wouldn't finish the day if they kept doing 12 minute rounds.
I thought it was all going to be 3 flying laps, the first round felt like an enduro! I thought they were going to leave us out there all day!
Lap times (off my in car timer)
Practice
- 1.42.18
Round 1
- 1.42.91
- 1.46.02
- 1.42.64
- 1.46.86

CHeers Guys,
Official results are up already. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/re...04/04/2010.SAN
Timing was by Dorian transponder which should be a little more accurate than my in car setup.
