Yeah i'm excited!

It was literally running out of paint. I would wash it, and when i wrung out the chamois it was like milk!!
Plus, it was badly faded, lots of dings and scratches, and the roof had been cheaply repaired before and the clear coat was all flaking off.

It'll also have more 'pop' with the brighter, crisper white color.

While the engine is out i'm doing some basic freshening up and wiring repairs...

...and paid the painter a visit yesterday. The doors are looking great after having the holes plugged. The bonnet was a mess but its perfect now, and the dented sills are also repaired.

I never knew there were Auto Union motorcycles!!! It's a DKW though... He said it was from the '50's. Very very rare and pretty amazing!
