      • From the outside pics it still has a bit of movement before the body hits the ground when its bagged out.

So what can you do to get around the sump?
Is it possible to fit a longer/wider sump that is shorter allowing a greater drop?
Or are you just going to leave the stock sump and sit it a bit higher than ground level for the bodywork?

It would just be too much to have two Passats on bags. One's enough!!

Dare I say, space the wheels outwards a bit for more flushness? I know it's not what you're going for, but it would aid the dopeness levels.
that is ALOT more harder than you think, im tucking well over an inch or rim, and its as close as 2mm away from the guard's some times even paper thin, i built the car to tuck all 4 rims! (not just tyres) and im very close in doing so, a spacer is well out of the question

          • congrats Dom! Big effort and persistance there and it's finally paid off! wicked and for my 2c of eff all, I think you need to work on your stance bro, it's got the low but has no stance to it, work the rims, get'em wider or space'em with camber and I reckon some mirror deletes would look tits!

Keep at it, it's things like this that's going to push aus dubs further!

                • Great work dude. Sorry about the split. I didn't realise it was hard acrylic until the hole saw dug in.

Good to see it worked out OK man. Top stuff.

PS, how'd the holes in the back work out? Sweet??

                  • all good homie, i wasnt happy with the condition of the pod in that current pic so i re skinned it with filler and sanded it back nice and flat, so it looks a tonne better now!

the back holes: i pretty much went with your measurements and flipped it over to the other side, then cut, except i just used a dremel and smashed through it

Maybe it's just the pics? But that paint job does look pretty horrid dude. I reckon you'd be better off with satin/flat black. "If you can't hide it, make it a feature."
