Just crazy busy/stressed at work. Lots of functions this time of year too, weekends and weekdays. I'm on holidays from next week, then I'll be back into it.

White Golf comes back on Friday, it'll be on the dyno again all day Thursday.

Plans for a monster carport are underway!

Donor car shots. I had a quick look at the rust situation, it's pretty bad. Bad enough for me not to lose sleep over cutting it up. Always a shame to take another one out of circulation but some must die so that others may live.













(I'm pretty sure I need 100% of the parts too, I'll let you all know if there's anything left over.)

Hopefully the bits I bought in the US will be at the docks for collection by the end of the week. Once it's here I'll right up the import process. It's complicated but can be done.

If you're good I might even show you what I bought!

Picked up my excess baggage from the wharves today.

It's going to take few days to sort through it all but here's some high lights of what in store for the race car.

Brakes first.

Rears are Std MK3 EBC rotors
Fronts are 256mm Vented 16v Scirocco. EBC again.
I got 2 pairs of discs just in case.







Not sure if I'll use these yet, but useful to have in the cupboard.

In amongst the other stuff is all the wheel bearings to go with this lot too.

I've also got ball joints and two complte sets of urethane mounts. (They were on sale! )
